With China pledging to invest in the European Rescue Fund (EFSF) and the Empire State Manufacturing Index coming in much better than forecasted, Wall Street was all set to open higher as we approached the US trading session. The only question was whether or not the markets would trend or remain in the sideways dance they have been in for the past several days.
