Market sentiment was turning sour as many investors upped their concerns over this weekend's elections in Greece, and the rising bond yields in Spain and Italy. As a result, Wall Street was set to open lower, and this only worsened as disappointing Retail Sales and Producer Price Index data was released just before the open.
