How long has Rockwell Trading been in business?
Rockwell Trading was founded in February 2005 by five active traders. Currently, we are the fastest growing company in the industry.
H ow can I be sure your company is legitimate?
We are the only company in the trading education industry that is a member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Our membership is verifiable at the link provided. In addition, we are also a member of the National Consumer League, supporting them completely in their fight against Internet fraud.
If these two memberships are not quite enough to convince you, please feel free to check up on our CEO, Markus Heitkoetter. In today’s world, you can never be too careful when it comes to new investments and business ventures. We want you to feel as confident as possible when it comes to our company, our products, and our team.
Is Rockwell Trading a brokerage firm?
No, we are not a brokerage firm. We specialize in education, more specifically, the education of any individual when it comes to trading successfully in the financial markets, regardless of trading experience.
Where are your offices located?
We are one of the few trading education companies with offices located in The Chicago Board of Trade – where the trading happens! Our headquarters is located in Austin, Texas. Additionally, we have operations in Aachen, Germany, and Amman, Jordan.

About Our Day Trading Coach Program
What’s included in your Day Trading Coach program?
We offer our Day Trading Coach in three different package options: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. These packages vary in both features and pricing for your convenience. Our Platinum package, which has the highest value in coaching, guarantees, and features, includes:
- 4 Personal One-On-One Coaching Sessions (at least one hour each, sometimes longer) with just you and your coach, conducted through the Internet and phone so that you don’t have to travel anywhere – usually one session per week
- All 4 of Our Iron-Clad Guarantees which include our Performance, Satisfaction, Low Price, and Drop-By Guarantees
- Genesis Trade Navigator Charting Software with color-coded bars and confirmation lines to easily identify high-probability trades (data subscriptions not included)
- Free Lifetime Updates of both the charting software and the Rockwell template
- Lifetime Coaching and Customer Support by phone and email whenever you need it

What are your guarantees and how do they work?
We offer four different guarantees to our students:
- Our Performance Guarantee
- If you do not make back at least triple the amount of your Rockwell tuition 6 months after joining the program and using our strategies and methods in your trading, you will not only receive a full refund of your tuition, WE will also pay YOU $1,001.00 out of our own pockets!
(Note: to be eligible for our Performance Guarantee, you must submit all documentation - such as the Trading Plan, the Trading Log, and the Weekly Coaching Focus Sheet - as provided and specified by your coach throughout the course of the program)
- Our Satisfaction Guarantee
- For Platinum and Gold Students – If, after completing your first Rockwell coaching session, you are at all dissatisfied with the products or services provided, simply inform your coach at the end of the session and you will receive a full refund!
- For Silver Students – If, within 30 days of paying your enrollment fee for your Rockwell Trading coaching program, you are at all dissatisfied with the products or services provided, you will receive a full refund from our company!

- If you find a coaching program that is identical to our Day Trading Coach but costs less, Rockwell Trading will match that price!

- At any time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday, you can drop by our offices. It doesn’t matter whether you need to ask a few questions, want some more information, or would just like to chat for a bit over a hot cup of coffee. We’ll be here!
All three of our Day Trading Coach Packages (Silver, Gold, and Platinum) include our Satisfaction, Low Price, and Drop-By Guarantees; however, only our Platinum package includes our Performance Guarantee.
Why can you offer a Performance Guarantee when no one else can?

Is there any monthly cost involved?
If you sign up for our Platinum package, you will never have to pay monthly fees to Rockwell Trading. With our Silver, and Gold packages, you will be required to pay a monthly fee if you wish to continue using certain features (such as templates, coaching support, trading log review, etc.) after your initial package access expires.

As to the charting software, we use Genesis Financial Trade Navigator (Genesis FT). Throughout your coaching, we will provide you with a free 30-day trial subscription. We have an arrangement with Genesis that allows our students to use the Genesis FT Trade Navigator Gold software (a $495 value) for no additional software cost, as long as your monthly data feed is paid for. After the first 30 days, streaming and/or real time data will vary from $89-$279, depending on which markets you trade and the real time data you use. These fees are paid directly to the exchanges.
(Note: the arrangement that we have with Genesis regarding their trading software is exclusive to Rockwell Trading. You will not find this information on the Genesis website.)
Do you offer a free trial?
Of course. We offer a 60-minute coaching session absolutely free of charge. And unlike some free trial sessions, it’s not just a sales pitch! You WILL learn useful trading information! Click here to customize your free session now.
After you complete our short qualification survey and select your date and time, you will need to confirm your scheduled session. This can be done by contacting us through either phone or email. It will also give us a chance to answer any questions you may have. Then, at the scheduled date and time, your coach will call you and conduct your session via phone and Internet.
Do you offer your program in any other languages besides English?
Currently, we are able to offer our coaching programs in English, French, Spanish, German, Hindi, and Tagalog. Additional language options are in development.
Is your Day Trading Coach like the black box systems I’ve seen on T.V.?
Absolutely not! The systems that you see on T.V. are automated, and they’re unreliable because of it. Our Day Trading Coach is first and foremost a coaching program. That is where the value lies, not in the software. Of course, we do use charting software (Genesis Trade Navigator), but this is simply a tool to help YOU become a better trader. Rest assured that when you sign up with us, you and you alone will be in control of your trading decisions. You will not find any automated trading systems at Rockwell.
If I choose one of your coaching packages, can I upgrade later?
Yes, absolutely. If you choose to sign up for our Silver or Gold packages and then decide later that you’d like to upgrade to a different package with more features, like Platinum, simply contact us. We’ll get you all sorted out.
(Note – keep in mind that the cost of upgrading your package will be greater than the original package prices. For example, if you wanted to upgrade your Gold package to Platinum, you would end up paying more than if you had chosen Platinum initially. Upgrade pricing is available upon request.)
I’m ready to sign up – what will happen after I do?
Excellent! We’ll give you a call after you’ve signed up to answer any questions you may have and to provide you with an overview of what you can expect in the coming weeks. We’re also able to get your first coaching session scheduled right away, at a time and date that’s convenient for you.
In addition, immediately after you’ve signed up, you’ll be sent our Day Trading Coach materials, which include the coaching curriculum, examples of the signals and strategies, your trading logs, and the trading software and templates.
I have limited trading experience with the futures and forex markets. Will that be a problem?
Not at all. In our coaching program we will teach you everything you need to know. In fact, having limited knowledge is an advantage, since you don’t have to “unlearn” any bad trading habits that you might have. If you are new to trading, it’s easy to teach you the “right” way to trade, and we have many successful students who had never placed a trade in their life before they joined our coaching program.
About Our Coaching
What does ‘personal coaching’ really mean?
Coaching is what sets Rockwell Trading apart from our competitors. Personal coaching is exactly what it sounds like: it’s intimate, informative, intensive, and completely hands-on. You will have regular sessions with your coach, and you will work together to create your perfect, personalized trading plan.
Each of our Day Trading Coach packages has different methods of personal coaching. In our Platinum package, you’ll be getting one-on-one coaching – just you and your coach. In our Gold and Silver packages, you’ll be a participant in group coaching, which means that you and your coach will be joined by no more than four additional Rockwell students. In addition, with our Silver package, you’ll also be listening to Head Coach Mark Hodge in pre-recorded coaching sessions accompanied by presentations on DVD.
What qualifications do Rockwell coaches have?
All of our coaches are professional traders with a minimum of ten years first-hand experience in the markets. In addition, each Rockwell coach is screened carefully before they are hired. This evaluation process is stringent and thorough, and it provides us with an accurate assessment of both the candidates’ teaching and trading abilities.
Another thing to keep in mind about our coaches is that most of them are former Rockwell students themselves. This means that they have a deep understanding of both our program and the mindset of our current students. They’ve decided to become coaches because they have achieved success with us, and they know we’re the real deal. Now their job is to make sure that you know it, too.
How is my coaching curriculum determined?
Our Day Trading Coach program consists of four separate sessions, and all of our coaches follow a basic curriculum plan for each session. As you and your coach work together, your curriculum will be modified and personalized to better fit you, your trading methods and goals, and your level of trading experience.
What will I be doing between my coaching sessions?
Homework! Our Day Trading Coach is not an automated system – the more hands-on experience you have in trading, the better your results and profits will be. Homework will not only keep you focused on your trading, it will also allow you the benefit of trial-and-error learning. You will be required to make a certain amount of trades between each coaching session, keeping a log of all your trading activity. In your next session, you and your coach will be able to evaluate your trades and concentrate on the areas that still need improvement.
Can I get help between coaching sessions?
Yes! You will have unlimited support from both your coach and our team at Rockwell throughout the length of your coaching and after. If you have any questions, comments, or need clarification on some aspect of the program or your trading activities, please, please, please do not hesitate to contact us! That’s why we’re here!
What will happen after I complete my four coaching sessions?
You stay in contact! Remember, every package we offer comes with extended coaching and customer support. And if you go Platinum, you get lifetime support! About Our Trading Plan
What markets can I trade using your strategies?
With our Day Trading Coach, you’ll be learning six different trading strategies, and the best thing about them is that they’re flexible. They can be applied to any market, provided there’s enough liquidity. These markets include, but are not limited to:
- US Indices (such as e-mini S&P, e-mini Nasdaq, e-mini Russell)
- Forex Markets (Euro/USD and others)
- Electronic Commodities (such as corn and soybean)
- Interest Rates (such as 30-Year Bonds)
- International Markets (such as the German DAX)
What timeframe do you use?
We use 15-minute time bars at Rockwell Trading, for a very specific reason. Our CEO, Markus Heitkoetter, has used every timeframe imaginable in his trading. He feels that 15-minute time bars are the best, and our successful results agree with him.
Regardless of what timeframe you’re using, you only have a split second to make a trading decision once that bar is completed. Timeframes shorter than 15 minutes result in nervousness and loss of focus, while time frames longer than 15 minutes lack proper entry and exit signals. 15-minute time frames are a perfect compromise between the two.
Will I be able to make real trades?
Our coaches will be working with you to recognize and identify high-probability trading opportunities. Each of your four coaching sessions will incorporate new concepts and filters for your trades, and it is highly recommended that you hold off on trading live until the completion of at least your third session and, ideally, the completion of your fourth as well.
You should also be aware that your coach is not allowed to give you specific trade recommendations.
Who can I use as a broker to help with my trades?
Anyone! It is possible to trade directly through the charting software, but we don’t recommend it. We feel it’s best to separate your charting software and your trading platform. There are dozens of brokers out there to choose from. If you need help finding a solid and reliable broker, feel free to contact us for info at support@rockwelltrading.com.
What data feed do you use for your charting software?
Our charting software uses the direct data feed from Genesis, and Genesis receives their data feed from S&P Comstock.
What are the monthly costs for Genesis Financial Trade Navigator?

At this time, we do not offer our templates with any charting software besides Genesis FT.
