I am on a road tour and I have to travel more than 4000 miles. I will be in six different sailing regattas where my son Julius will compete. We just wrapped up the first one in Houston; it is called Texas Youth Race Week. Julius and his skipper Lucy did AWESOME!
It was raining a lot during our first trip. This regatta was supposed to be three days but has been delayed because of thunderstorms. On the first day they made three races and then on the second day another three races, but on the third day, they could not compete. But all is not lost, Julius and Lucy end up on first place!
This is a smaller regatta; there were six boats in Julius’s boat class. As we progress on our trip, the competition will get bigger. The next regatta will be comprised of 114 boats! But I think it is important that you take everything seriously no matter how small or big the competition is, which Julius and Lucy his skipper did. They have stayed focused! It was a great regatta. I am very proud of Julius and Lucy, they did an amazing job!
Off we go now to the one! I hope you will follow along! Here is the next episode of my journey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPNpldKGQlM&list=PLBa3sAx-Io2kCH7pMVubLPhUqGcsR-FQf&index=12.
