My son Julius turned 15 last month, and now he has a Learner’s Permit.
So we started driving lessons:
The first lesson was on the school’s parking lot on a weekend when nobody was there.
After a few practice lessons on the parking lot, we started practicing in a quiet neighborhood, driving 25-30 mph.
Then we moved on to empty streets where the speed limit was 40-45 mph.
We’re still practicing a lot together, and Julius is getting really good!
He still needs several hours in quieter neighborhoods before I let him drive on busy roads with 65-75 mph.
Do you remember when you started driving?
Wasn’t it scary at first?
And now it’s easy.
You do it effortlessly.
But did the driving get easier?
No!
YOU just got better at it.
And that applies to everything you do:
It never gets easier.
You just get better!
True?
