Right now, I am at Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman Island.
For the next 4 days, I will be trading together with our Inner Circle Members – right here in paradise.
I took this picture last night.
And it remembered me of a quote:
“Fill your life with adventures, not things.
Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.”
When I was still working at IBM, I didn’t have any stories to tell.
It was the “same old, same old:”
I went to work, put in the hours, came home and was often too exhausted to do anything.
I did this for several years, and then in 2002, I decided that something needed to change.
I wanted to have more money!
I wanted to have more time!
I wanted to have more fun!
And I wanted to travel!
That’s why I left my 6-figure job to become a trader.
I was DONE living a life as a corporate slave.
I wanted to experience life!
I wanted to have adventures!
I am looking at this amazing sunset while enjoying a local beer called “Seven Mile Wheat” and having some conch – one of the local specialties.
I know that I will remember this night!
And right now, THIS is what I want:
I want to make memories that last me a long time.
I want to fill my life with adventures, not things.
I want to have stories to tell, not stuff to show.
Because one day, I want to look back at my life and say:
“Wow, I lived a full life. Full of stories. Full of adventures.”
And I want to inspire my kids and grandchildren to do the same!
Wouldn’t THAT be a life worth living?
