Ready for a long weekend?

Market Recap For Thursday, May 23rd 2014

Stocks ended higher for the second consecutive day, with the S&P up 4.5 points and the DOW up 10 points.

Day traders experienced a pretty boring session today with the 2nd lowest volume of the year. Only 565 million NYSE shares were traded.

With a volume drop and only 1 item on the economic calendar tomorrow, will traders get an early start on the Memorial Day holiday weekend?

Note: U.S. markets will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day.
