Yesterday was my last day with my brother in Leipzig, and we decided to break into Joe’s office to retrieve something that didn’t belong to him in the first place.
And we almost got caught, but luckily, we were able to escape.
Yes, this was just a game. 🙂
We went and played an escape room game.
If you are not familiar with this: An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit.
We had an hour to get out of the room.
And luckily, we were a team of four.
We were ready to conquer!
But in the beginning, …
It was chaos!
We ran through the room trying to find clues to unlock locks that would lead us to the next clue.
There was a lock that would accept a date as a combination.
And there were a bunch of paintings and pictures on the wall with dates when they were painted. So I shouted out all of the dates and we tried them as combinations.
The time was ticking and …
We thought “Gheesh, maybe the lock is broken”.
As we got frustrated since we didn’t make any progress.
But then the “game master” – who was watching us through a camera – gave us a clue, and we found the right combination to unlock the next clue.
And slowly but surely we got the hang of the game.
As time passed, we got much better at finding clues, unlocking locks and progressing through the game:
We re-arranged pictures on the wall, opened secret doors, found keys to locks under the chair, and discovered flashlights with UV Black Light that revealed codes on the walls.
Every now and then we got stuck and the game master had to give us another hint so that we could continue.
But in the end…
We “escaped” the room with 6 minutes to spare.
It was so much fun.
And I can’t help myself but the whole experience reminded me a lot about trading:
Especially in the beginning, when you’re new to it, it might seem chaotic and you don’t know what to do.
Eventually, somebody gives you a “hint” like the game master in the escape room game, and you make some progress.
But you will also find that every now and then you get stuck and become frustrated.
And it’s good to have somebody in your corner who then gives you the next hint so that you can solve the complex “puzzle” of trading.
That’s why we have a whole community of experienced traders in our private community who help traders whenever they need support.
Because the more experienced traders have “been there, done that.”
It’s like having a “game master” who already KNOWS what you need to do next.
Pretty cool, isn’t it?
And the best: If you already own PowerX Optimizer, you have full access to this community! So if you’re not hanging out on “Mighty Networks” yet, let me know and we’ll show you how to get in there.
Alright, time to pack up and catch the high-speed train to Lohr.
Did you know that in Germany the trains go 150 mph? 🙂
Have a great weekend,
PS: If you don’t own PowerX Optimizer yet, check it out: https://PowerXOptimizer.com. The markets are crazy, and I’m using this tool every day to find the best trades in this chaos.
Just yesterday, I place another trade after finishing the escape room. And it took me less than 10 minutes to find this trade.
