We’re Back From the Sailing Regatta!

Happy Saturday!

Wednesday night, Vivian and I got back from the sailing regatta in Long Beach, CA.

It was an amazing roadtrip:

We drove 3,586 miles = 5,771 kilometers!

While driving through the desert in Arizona at 115F (48C), I realized that …

There must be a new law!

And the law is “The Law of 3”.

When we planned our trip back from Long Beach to Austin, we had THIS plan:

1. Get out of Los Angeles and onto I-10

2. Get to El Paso

3. Get to Austin / Home.

3 easy steps!

And there are a million things that you need to pay attention to during a sailing regatta, but ultimately, it all boils down to:

1. Get a great start

2. Sail on the “lifted tack”

3. Have good boat speed.

And as I was driving down the highway at 80 miles per hour (YES, in Texas that’s the legal speed limit), I realized that …

I have been using THIS in my trading!

As an example, there are 3 things you need to success as a trader:

1. A proven trading strategy

2. The right tools and

3. The right mindset.

And when you think about the key elements of a trading strategy, then it boils down to THIS:

1. Choose what stock or option to trade

2. Know when to enter

3. Know when to exit (with a profit or with a loss)

Also, when using the PowerX Optimizer for the PowerX Strategy, I follow these 3 steps:

1. Run the scanner

2. Select the best stocks to trade (A+ trades)

3. Place the order.

And then I’m using the Wheel Scanner, I use the following 3 steps:

1. Do I want to own the stock?

2. Do I want to own it at the strike price?

3. Do I get enough money (premium) for the risk I take?

If you want to see my whole trading routine, you can check it out HERE.

Anyhow, I realized that …

I like the new “law”!

It makes my life much easier!

Tomorrow, I’m going to show you a few trades that I did this week. I’ll walk you through the trades step-by-step.

Talk soon,

– Markus
